I love farms, and I love riding horses, but I don't have a horse yet. I'm saving up to buy a horse one day. When I'm a big boy I would like a farm with pigs, and horses - lots of horses, and lots and lots of cows, and goats, chickens - about 100, and lots of roosters so I can have baby chicks.
And Dolly-girl would like a farm too. I'm going to milk the cows and I'm gonna feed the chickens and stuff, and I'm going to feed the cows and I'm going to feed the horses, and I'm gonna buy some ducks and geese. I'm going to grow a crop to feed my animals and to sell, and to eat for my bread. I'm going to cut it with farm machines like a harvester.
I like to read and I like Dolly-girl playing with me. I read tractor books, animal books, books about little children and big people, and I like books about our body, and I like to read the Little Book of Knowledge which is about how things work and about the world and the upper space and the body and lots of other things.

Did you know that Jesus died on the cross for your sins? And did you know that if you love Him you will go to heaven and not go in hell, which is fire? I love Jesus and I asked Him to wash my heart clean. Do you want your heart washed clean? You can pray for that and God can do that for you.
Did you know that Dolly likes colouring? She's colouring something for Auntie Rossie right now. I like colouring sometimes, do you like colouring? Mummy does. I'm learning to colour neater so I don't scribble when I'm older.

I started school this year, properly. I'm learning English, Spelling, Language Arts, Reading to Learn, Science, Social Studies, Art, Music, about the Human Body, which I like best. And we are reading different books which we've never done before, and then we put them on kiddies' bookshelf. I like school now and I used to not like school.
Did you know you shouldn't boast? And did you know that we keep our house clean? Mummy cleans it for us, but we help when we do our chores.

Love from Dolly-girl xoxo
Very nice blog Danny!
It was good to read. I like your "Did You Know" questions. They make people think!
Did you know that you're the only 5 year old I know who has a blog?
Love you!
Papa
Dear Danny - what a WONDERFUL blog and I just loved reading all about your farm. I will have to visit your farm so I can buy your wheat to make into bread and perhaps some eggs to make a pie and I love fresh milk!! With the milk I can make cream and butter to have on my homemade bread.
I can't wait to hear more about your school and all the things you are learning.
Like Papa, I also liked your "Did you know" questions and can't wait to hear more of those. Adults like to learn new things too.

PS What a cool title Cowboy Danny :)
PSS I would love to come and visit your farm one day?
Dear Danny,
What a nice surprise to find your blog this morning. I am very proud of you for starting this when you are 5 years old.
I agree with Papa that your questions "did you know" are very good. They help people stop and think about what you wrote.
It is a good thing to think about what you want to do when you grow up. I think farming is a great idea. Uncle Mike likes to farm, too, and since he moved to the country he's starting to farm. He's got about 35 chickens and wants to get 2 cows, and maybe goats. He grows a garden in the summer.
Keep up the good work, Danny-boy.
I love you and pray for you every day.
Grandma
